Antaya Akeema Williams

Antaya  Akeema Williams was born on September 17, 1984 to Blondell Myers and Kevin Williams at Brookdale Hospital  in Brooklyn, NY.  She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2020.

Antaya, lovingly known as, Taya, received her education in the NYC public school system.

Antaya loved children and worked as a para in the NYC education system and upon giving birth to her son, Majour, with Ery Jerome St. Germain Jr. on November 3, 2011, she extended that immeasurable love to her son!

Antaya had a God given gift for music and singing. Her passion for music lead her to create music of her own for hours and hours. Upon completion she would ask her audience to listen for feedback.

Antaya was a quiet subtle person in any room, but when spoken to, or wanting to be acknowledged her voice became known. Not that she couldn’t defend herself, she could clearly do this. Taya was a loving, caring soul and was loved by all! Her smile lit up the room and she was such a beautiful young lady. Taya remained joyful even when she didn’t feel her best. 

Antaya leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved son, Majour Ery      Williams St Germain; her loving mother, Blondell Myers; her brother, Carty Myers; her companion, Ery Jerome St Germain Jr. and many loving aunts, uncles, and a host of relatives and friends. 

Taya was a beautiful flower which blossomed so brightly in God’s garden, so He picked her just for Him!  She will be missed immensely by all who knew her. She will never be forgotten!
