In Loving Memory of Brian Knight
Brian Knight was born in Westchester County, Mount Pleasant, New York to his mother, Andrea Hurd on October 24, 1988. He was her second child.
Brian was adopted by his foster mom, Maggie Knight 1994. Brian was educated through the New York City Department of Education. He attended P.S.183, JHS 275 and graduated from Boys and Girls High School.
Brian joined Temple Church of Christ in 1996. He sang on the Children’s Choir and attended Sunday School every Sunday. He loved basketball and coaching the other children, teaching them different techniques to improve their basketball skills.
Brian leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Yazmene (Yazzy) Knight of Elizabeth, North Carolina; his mother, Maggie Knight of Brooklyn, New York; two brothers, Kashif Knight of Buffalo, New York and Jerry Slade (Desiree) of Brooklyn, New York; five nieces, Tawana Knight, Patrice Knight, Shante Slade, Cycira Caldwell and Briana Caldwell; four nephews, Jerome Slade, Devinaire Howard, Jayse Gibbs and Robert Caldwell; three uncles, Jimmy Slade (Clara) of Brooklyn, New York; Vance Slade (Barbara) of Pantego, North Carolina and John Dixon of Brooklyn, New York; aunt, Catherine Dixon of Brooklyn New York; friends and neighbors.
