Clard Coleman, Sr.

Clard Coleman was born March 26, 1939 to the late Arthur Coleman and Mattie Coleman in Alberta, Alabama. He departed this life on February 22, 2021.

Clard met and married the love of his life, Jeanette Coleman and had six children. Clard was a very hard-working man who knew how to save a dollar. Clard and Jeanette’s life together was full of love and adventure. Jeanette preceded Clard in death on October 22, 2009 as well as his son, Jimmy Coleman on November 29, 2016.

Clard is survived by his five children, Alphonso Westbrook (Jennifer), Patricia Coleman (The Late Sonny Battle), Clard Coleman, Jr. (Sherry), Carl Coleman and Caroline Coleman (Richard); nine grandchildren, Chierra, Latiffah, Chanel, Julian, Kieran, Shereen, Jada, Alphonso, Jr. and Cymere; four great grandchildren, Ka-Lee ,Katelyn, Kaelani and Chavi; his brothers, twin, Clay (the late Mittiemae Coleman), Arthur Lee (the late Ethel Coleman), William (Dorothy), Columbus (Barbara) and the late Ernest Coleman (Verma); his sisters, Hattie Bumpass (James), Mattie Laduna (Joseph), Dannie Nesmith (the late James Nesmith), Christine Parker (Lee) and Caroline Coleman; a host of other family members and friends.
