Paul "Pie" Roberts, Jr. was born in Brooklyn, New York, on April 24, 1948 to the late Paul, Sr. and Emma Roberts. Paul was the eldest of his siblings.
After graduating from high school, Paul joined the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the Marines, he served in the Vietnam War, receiving many honorable awards. Paul was later honorably discharged form the United States Marines and worked at TWA. He also worked as a Logistics Driver and Security Officer. He later worked as a vendor in Downtown Brooklyn, selling women's handbags and in Coney Island, selling flowers while enjoying his retirement.
Paul was a loving person to his to his family and friends. To know Paul, was to love him. He always kept a positive attitude and everyone loved his energy. He was the brother and uncle of 325 Classon Avenue and whole Lafayette Gardens. He was always willing to sit down, have a conversation with you and offered sound advice to many young men. You walked away learning something new. Everyone that loved him, called him "Uncle Pie." He loved talking about his time in the military and was proud to have served his Country.
Paul Roberts, Jr., after a prolonged illness, stepped out of time and into eternity on Monday, April 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul, Sr. and Emma Roberts; his brother, David Barnes; sisters, Linda and Pamela Roberts.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Kimberly Lynette Roberts and Tyrell Desean Roberts; niece, Krista Joi Roberts; nephew, John Paul Roberts and his son, John Paul Roberts, Jr.; maternal aunt, Coreen Joyner; cousins, extended family members, friends, the Classon Avenue and Laffayette Gardens family.
