II Timothy 4: 6-8
For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Roberta L. Green, loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt and friend, made her transition on Tuesday, April 3, 2020.
Roberta L. Green was born to the late Louvenia R. Green and the late Benjamin R. Green, Sr. She was the fifth of six siblings. Four siblings preceded her in death, Addie Mae Green, Richard Green, Benjamin Green and Pearl Green.
Roberta L. Green leaves to mourn, but cherish her memories, her five children, Bruce E. Brooks, Bryant K. Brooks, Deborah D. Brooks – Grant, Byron Brooks and Crystal D. Moore – Green; one brother, William R. Green of South Carolina; twelve grandchildren, Aitiqua, Sadane, Shariff, Shaniqua, Shanelle, Shynese, Shatima, Brandon, Matthew, Nicole, Vashawn and Jah’kim; five great- grandchildren, Iyisis, Kiven, Camyr, Caleb and Christian; two daughters-in-law, Tracy Brooks and Gwen Brooks; one son-in-law, Langa Grant; nieces and nephews, Debra, Queen Victoria, Eunic, Frank, Patricia, Calvin and Timothy; a host of extended family members, friends and neighbors.
