Ronald Jamel Finch- Butler

Ronald Jamel Finch-Butlerwas born in Brooklyn, New York on July 19, 1979 to the late Ronald Butler and Teresa Inez Finch.

Affectionately known as “Jamel”, he graduated from Louis D. Brandeis High School in 1998 and later received certifications in security from John Jay College in February 2018.

Ronald Jamel Finch-Butler gave his life to Christ at the Universal Baptist Church, Brooklyn, New York under the leadership of Rev. Dr. James R. Green , Jr. While at Universal, he was a part of the Youth Ministry and later faithfully served on the Usher Board Ministry.

In 2002, Ronald Jamel Finch-Butler and Sabteca Youmans were joined together in Holy Matrimony. From this union sons Samir Zeal Finch and Khamarrie Finch-Youmans were born.

Ronald Jamel Finch-Butlerwas a devoted husband, father, son, brother, nephew and friend. He was full of life, supportive, positive and had an infectious smile and laughter.

On Saturday, August 8, 2020 God chose Ronald Jamel Finch-Butler from His garden to adorn His heavenly throne. Jamel is preceded in death by his twin brother Richard Ramel Finch-Butler and father, Ronald Butler. Jamel leaves to mourn and cherish his life: Wife: Sabteca Youmans; Sons: Samir and Khamarrie; Mother: Teresa I. Finch; Sister: Tamika Butler; Uncles: Joseph Finch, Ernest, Trevor and Erik Butler; Aunts: Valarie Finch-Miller, Cheryl Henry and Sharon Ortiz; and a host of loving cousins, family and friends that love him and will miss him dearly.
