Wilfredo Rodriguez
March 3, 1960 - December 7, 2019
Wilfredo Rodriguez was born on March 3, 1960 at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Saturnino Rodriguez and Lola Rodriguez-Concepcion. He met and married Lanore Montenegro and from this union had three daughter's whom he loved dearly.
After graduating from Lafayette H. S. he began a job at Pathmark and later became and retired as the Dairy Department Manager. In June of 1999 Freddy dedicated his life to the Lord after receiving a miracle from God. Freddy lovingly known to many as "Brother Fred" dedicated himself to the work of the church at Coney Island Gospel Assembly. He served in many areas of the church and was a Deacon there also.
Freddy will be remembered as a true NY Yankee fan. His fun filled talents included drawing and dancing. When dancing his main move when he was younger was the hustle. He could hustle all night long on the dance floor with his sister Nelly! Freddy was a talker and OH YEAH he can talk. You always knew he was around, because you can hear his LOUD voice a block away!! BUT one thing Freddy was, he was a GREAT listener. No matter what the time or day was , he would converse with you about any topic that needed to be spoken about. Freddy was always there to listen and help if needed.
Sadly, on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 12:38 PM Wilfredo Rodriguez was called home to be with the Lord forever. He leaves to cherish his memory his three daughters's Raven Rodriguez (Johnny), Stephanie Latoni (Richie) and Diana Rodriguez, nine grandchildren, Marc Anthony, Alex, Adienna, Angelina, Lola, Alyssa, Kaylee, Mia and Ryan.
Wilfredo also leaves to cherish his memory his eight brother's and sister's, Miriam, Sassy, David, Nelly, Willie, Amy, Richie and Miriam. He was predeceased by his parents and younger brother Edwin.
He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law to cherish his memory.
